Chicken Teriyaki with Vegetables (Boiled)

The alternative to the stir-fried Chicken Teriyaki.

Chicken Teriyaki with Vegetables (Boiled)

Ingredients for the sauce
½ tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons soy sauce
½ tablespoon sugar or imitation
1 tablespoon garlic powder
½ cup chicken broth


Ingredients for the chicken and vegetables
3 ounces of chicken breast, chopped
½ broccoli flowerets
½ cup bean sprouts


To make the sauce:
Mix the soy sauce, sugar, garlic powder, cornstarch and onion powder in a bowl. Stir with a spoon.
Add chicken broth. Stir again.
Leave it on the side and continue to make the whole dish.

To make the dish:
Pour 8 oz of water in a sauce pan. Boil it at high heat.
Add the vegetables and the chicken. When they’re half cooked, add the sauce and continue cooking, stirring with a spoon through the process.
When almost all of the sauce has been absorbed by the chicken and vegetables, remove from heat and serve.

Makes one serving.
